What we collect
When you send us an inquiry, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, project type, and your message. Like most websites, our hosting provider may also record basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your inquiry and to discuss your project. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run this website and our email, and only as needed to provide those services, or if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up on your project, and then delete them on request.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent us. Email ben@apeldesign.com.
Do Not Track
This website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.

Construction work is performed under California contractor license #1150546 (B – General Building). You can verify it on the Contractors State License Board website.

Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've done
Text and buttons are designed for readable contrast. Photos carry text descriptions. The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link. Galleries and the contact form are built to work with screen readers, and animations switch off if your device asks for reduced motion.
Ongoing work
We review the site as we add new projects and photos. Some content from third parties, such as embedded maps or social media, may not be fully within our control.
